As I understand it, the 'Live in Japan' album was pieced together from two shows on consecutive nights.
Anyone else think it would be *really* cool if a deluxe, remastered 2CD version, containing both gigs in their entirity with everything in the correct order and all the stage ch4tter/guitar tuning was released? I was looking at a copy of The Who's 'Live at Leeds' deluxe 2CD version when I had the idea yesterday. I think that the Runaways deserve it - LiJ is one of the best live rock albums of all time after all.
I'm aware that there were several guitar overdubs on the original release to make the whole package sound 'shinier'. It might be cool to hear the band completely raw and unedited...
Do the original soundboard tapes from the shows still even exist? I guess that if anyone would know around here, Jackie would...
Thoughts, ladies and gentlemen?
EDIT: Strange, strange wordfilter... Hmm.
